Jun 3 : Painting Garden Landscape with Watercolor

In this class, you will learn how to set up your paint palette using watercolor by mixing unique colors and applying them either dry or wet when painting flowers, trees, grass and cloud/sky. Explore painting flowers using marks and apply basic watercolor technique in painting a colorful and expressive flower garden landscape. Also learn simple tips and tricks in sketching and laying out light wash for background. At the end of the class, you will be able to combine all elements to paint a garden landscape painting.This class is suitable for beginners as we will also be covering basic color mixing and painting techniques to be applied when painting our landscapes.

Farah Bidin is a self-taught artist, educator and founder of Paintstobrushes who live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. She started her creative journey on calligraphy. Her inspiration hugely inspired by nature and botanicals and the fact that watercolour allows her to capture the freshness of the blooms still blows her mind.
